Search Tips
Use the following symbols to construct a search:
- Enclose exact names and phrases in quotation marks (e.g.
"Jewish People's School"
- Use / for OR (e.g. refugees /
Canada finds records that have either refugees OR
Canada)
- Use ! for NOT (e.g. refugees !
Canada finds records that have refugees and NOT
Canada)
- Use * to truncate (e.g.
refug* finds refuge, refugee, refugees, etc.)
Use the "Select" button to create a refined list of your search
results. This can be viewed by clicking the View
Selections link in the blue bar at the top of the
screen.
N.B. Some materials on your specific subject
may not yet be posted online. If your search results in no
information, we encourage you to contact us directly.
