- 11 black and white photographs with 7 negatives of New Glasgow and Ste. Sophie area, circa 1964; 11 slides of Ste. Sophie area, circa 1963-1964. Photocopies of some of the minutes from the original handwritten minutes book of the Scotland Protestant School, Ste. Sophie, Quebec, 1914-1937. The photocopied minutes are mostly written in Yiddish, with a few in English. Typed transcription of the Yiddish and English minutes pages as well as additional minutes in English (translation of the Yiddish minutes by Dr. Louis Rosenberg, circa 1959). Additional papers from E. Gault Finley, including correspondence and notes used in the course of research on public education in Quebec. Inventory of collection contents, prepared in 2002.

- History / Biographical
- The Scotland Protestant School of Ste. Sophie, Quebec was established circa 1914. The school was attended mostly by the children of Jewish immigrants and the three members of its Board of Trustees were Jewish. E. Gault Findlay wrote a thesis on the Bi-religious basis of Quebec's public school system (1959).
