Pricing information
This information applies to all material for which reproductions
are permitted, in accordance with Canadian copyright and privacy
laws, as well as donor restrictions, where applicable.
The following refers to material
ordered from both the CJCCCNA and JPL-A, unless
otherwise indicated.
Photographic reproductions (digital)
For an already-scanned image, in our standard size (300 dpi
tiff)

Digital material delivery charges
|
- No charge for up to 3 images if they are under 6 mgs and can be
sent by email, after that $5.00 per transmission.
- For images larger than 6 mgs, delivery by post on a CD-ROM is
$5.00 Cdn for the CD, plus postage charges (between $1.50 and $5.00
per package, depending on location.)
- To propose alternate methods of delivery such as ftp or large
file delivery websites, please contact us.

Digital reproduction of documents
Limited quantities of material can be sent by email as lower
resolution jpegs, or in multi-page pdf format. For certain types of
material, up to 3 pages may be sent free of charge. Additional
pages will be charged at a rate of $15.00 Cdn for from 4 to 10 jpeg
pages, or $20.00 for a pdf assemblage of up to 20 pages. For
a larger volume of copied documents, please see the "Photocopies"
option below.
Digital reproduction of oversized or fragile
materials and artifacts
Digital images can be
produced of material
that is oversized (larger
than 11x17), too delicate for flatbed scanners (at the discretion
of the Archivist) and/or artifacts.Please

Photocopies of specific documents
For documents from CJCCCNA:

For copies of letter or legal size documents:
- 0.15/ page if copies are made onsite by a researcher*
- 0.30/page for copies made by staff in response to a remote
request*
- 0.50/ page for oversize (11 inch by 17 inch) photocopies*
* Plus the cost of postage to your location. A limit of 50 pages
may apply to some collections, or there may be additional fees for
the research time required to select the pages (see next section.)

Research and document selection
Up to one hour of research and selection time can be done free
of charge. After this limit has been reached, you will be notified
that a charge of $25.00 per hour will apply for further work.
Please allow two weeks per order.
Retrieval of personal files from remote
storage
Due to the fees charged to CJCCCNA for retrieval of recent
personal case files (JIAS and URO), those with authorization to
access these CJCCCNA files will be required to pay a retrieval fee
of $55.00 for an initial file and $25 for an additional file
ordered at the same time.
Audio or audio visual materials (digital)
For non-copyright-protected audio or audio-visual archival
material that is already available in digitally-copied form, the
cost is $10.00 per digital copy of a CD-ROM and $15.00 per digital
copy of a DVD, plus from $1.50 to $5.00 for postage charges,
depending on location. We suggest that you communicate with us
first to ensure that our digital format is compatible with your
equipment.
Audio or audio visual materials (digital copies of older
formats)
The cost of copying audio cassette
or VHS format audiovisual
materials is $20.00 per hour plus $5.00 per CD-ROM or $7.00 per
DVD, plus the cost of postage (between $1.50 and $5.00 Cdn,
depending on location.) The cost for
copying fragile reel to reel tapes and audiovisual material
from film formats other than VHS is a minimum of $40.00
per hour.At this time, audio material
can be provided in WMA or WAV format, but the greater size of WAV
files may necessitate more than one CD. Audiovisual materials are
generally copied only in compressed format: contact us for further
details.
Payment methods:
All prices listed above are in Canadian dollars. Orders can be
paid via cheque, in Canadian or USD, to the institution which holds
the material (Canadian Jewish Congress Charities Committee National
Archives, or Jewish Public Library Archives.) The option to pay
online by credit card will be possible soon, via Paypal. Please contact us if you have further
