Spice box, Italian filigree, in the shape of a casket with pomegranate on lid. Donated by Mrs. Edward Jacobs in honour of her grandson Ian Benjamin Copnick, Sept. 19, 1975.
With Hebrew inscription "Shabbat Kodesh." In between Hebrew words: "Karlsbad." Hallmarked "Feinstahl." Bequest of Dr. Charles Fox of Cambridge, McGill and Sir George Williams Universities. Born in London, died in Montreal April 1976.

Oval challah plate engraved and chased with images of challahs, Stars of David, shells. Hebrew inscription regarding Shabbat. From Rabbi Herman Abramowitz estate, made to order in Germany and presented to Rabbi Abramowitz on his 25th anniversary as rabbi at Congregation Shaar Hashomayim 1927. Donated by Joe and Ida Berman.
Inscription on base: "Presented to Shaar Hashomayim Congregation by Lyon Cohen, Esq. President, on the occasion of the Bar-Mitzvah of his eldest son in 1904."
This complete set includes pearl-handle knife, scissors and holder in original case lined with velvet. Initials "W.S." on cover. Presented by Mr. Ollendorff to Mr. Wolf Sternberg of Montreal. Permanent loan by Edward A. Schretter, Nyack, New York, great-grandson of Mr. Wolf Sternberg. Probably the oldest circumcision set in Canada.
