The family relocated to Brockville in 1930 so that Jacob could find work during the Depression. They started a ladies’ wear store at that time. After Dora and Maynard closed the store in 1974, they both moved back to Ottawa where they were members of Congregation Beth Shalom. All are buried at the Bank Street cemetery.
