Man and woman dressed up in suit and back dress are sitting. They are identified as Mendel Leibovici and his wife Ceina Swartz. Their four children are posing with them: a toddler is sitting between them, wearing a white dress, a young girl is standing on the left next to the man, wearing a dark colour dress with dots, and a young boy is standing to the right next to the woman wearing a white shirt and dark pants. The two older men are wearing dark suits and top hats, while the younger man is wearing a suit with a newsboy cap. From left to right, the men that are depicted are Aaron Eckstein, Sam Eckstein and Moishe Eckstein. Narrative: Aaron Eckstein was the founder of the diamond exchange in Antwerp. Sam Eckstein was the founder of the New York diamond exhange; he emmigrated to New York in the 1920's. Moishe Eckstein was killed in a skating accident in Antwerp in the 1920's. He was the first person to be buried in the Jewish cemetery.
