History / Biographical
As part of its commitment to documenting the history of Jewish Montreal, and in some cases Jewish communities or families in other areas of Quebec, the Jewish Public Library Archives has preserved a certain number of oral history interviews. The interviews were conducted by various Library personnel or volunteers with individuals from the Jewish Montreal community. Additional interviews will be added over the ensuing years as the JPL Archives has recommitted itself to gathering oral histories whenever possible from community members.
