Class A international driving license issued to Arnost Kanturek. 34 page booklet with beige cardstock covers; back cover folds out. Front cover has stamped dates and information, along with a red "KOLEK / 8 / REPUBLIKA CESKOSLOVENSKA" postage stamp in b.l.; back cover is blank except for a small "4" in a circle written in pencil at top. Third page has a b&w portrait of a young man in a suit and hat; his name and information is written below in blue ink, and a circular blue police stamp, as well as a triangular embossed "RCS" stamp are located on the photograph. The rest of the pages are empty except for the fold-out portion of back cover, which has another blue police stamp and repeats Mr. Kanturek's information. Narrative: Issued one day before the German occupation.

Driver's licence issued to Anna Voticky. 8 pages with a dark blue cardboard cover. Front cover has a heraldic device and lettering in gold; back cover is blank. The first page has a glued in b&w passport picture, a red and blue "KOLEK / 8 / KORUN / 19 19" postage stamp, two identical blue circular seals from the Prague police with a heraldic standard in the center, and personal information filled in at the bottom. The second and third page have the same seal in the b.c., as well as official signatures and dates. Following pages are empty.

1 cardstock page folded in half vertically. On the recto are Max Mondschein personal information. A b&w picture of Max Mondschein is glued on the c.r. inside the license. The license gives the holder the permission to drive a motor vehicle. Narrative: Max Mondschein was born in Husiatyn (Austro-Hungarian Empire, later Poland, today Ukraine) on 1908-03-16. He moved to Vienna (Austria) early in life. On 1939-09-11, Max Mondschein was deported to the Buchenwald concentration camp as a political prisoner. He was transferred to Auschwitz on 1942-10 where he received the Prisoner Number: 68 585. He was transported to Buna to serve as forced laborer for the I.G. Farben chemical industry from 1942-12 to 1944-12. From 1944-12 to 1945-04, he was confined in a camp near the town for Ellrich, Germany. He was used as forced laborer in the Sachsenhausen-Oranienburg concentration camp in 1945-04 and was liberated on 1945-05-02. After the war, he lived in a Displaced Persons Camp in Germany where he met his wife Renia Maszenberg. He came to Canada in October 1947 and settled in Montreal.
