History Biographical
Petigorsky Ltd. was a shoe findings business started by Oscar Petigrosky in the second decade of the twentieth century and became incorporated on August 12, 1918. The president was Oscar Petigorsky and his wife Nina was a director. The 1918 incorporation also included a commercial traveller, Simon Petigorsky, Leon Petegorsky, builder and brother to Oscar, and Harold Pinhey Esq. of Ottawa. When Nina Petigorsky died in 1969 and Oscar in 1970, the business was then under the management of Oscar’s son, Sam Petigorsky. It remained a family business until it was dissolved in 1998.
