Recording is of an interview with retired architect and professor Maurice Amiel by Information and Library Technologies student E. Edouard, April 11, 2012. This interview was made as part of the Jewish Public Library Archives commitment to documenting the history of Jewish Montreal. Major themes discussed are: the forced departure of Egyptian Jews in the wake of the 1956 Suez Crisis, his memories of the immigration of his family to Canada, France and the United States and his personnal experience of those events.
