- Mrs. Otsep was born in Moscow in 1920. She came to Canada around 1995, joining her daughter and family. She obtained her medical diploma as a surgeon on the day the Germans invaded Russia and served with the infantry during the war. Afterwards she worked in hospitals and in cancer research.

- Archives Juives de Montréal was founded by Tatiana Jour in 2005 with similar collecting aims to CJCCCNA, but since 2007 Mrs. Jour has been depositing the materials collected for this project here. Montreal Genizah, a Canadian intellectual journal in the Russian language, was founded by Tatiana Jour in 2005 and one edition has appeared to date.
