She is wearing a knee-length white dress with a tight hat and long veil; he wears a tux with tails, a top hat, and glasses. The couple stands in front of a wide doorway and are surrounded by men in suits, a young boy, and a few women. Digital copy of original photograph saved on CD with corresponding documentation. Narrative: Lisel Robitchek (daughter of Helene Robitchek, Elsa Epstein's sister) became an actress and took the stage name Lisel Ruska. She married Mr. Freund in 1926 in Prague; it was a civil wedding only and took place at the Clam-Gallas Palace in Husova (Jan Hus) street in the Old Town of Prague.
Mrs. M.A. Siegel regrets not having been able to meet with Reverend N. Mendelson and meet his wife, due to the poor health of her husband. "Mr. Siegel takes great pride in Congregation Shaar Hashomayim and feels a sense of satisfaction to know that you are the cantor." Mrs. Siegel congratulates Rev. Mendelson and wishes that his stay in Montreal bring joy and happiness to him and to all Jews everywhere.
