He wears shoes and his legs are wrapped. The studio backdrop shows tiled floors covered by a rug and a large room with columns and decorated walls. Narrative: Viktor Epstein was donor Liselotte Ivry's father (1893-1929); he was posted in Italy during the war.

The man in the foreground is staring off into the distance, while the man behind him is staring at the camera. The man in front is clean-shaven, and wears decorations on his collar, as well as two medals hanging from his throat. The man in back has a mustache, and has a line of distinctions along his breast pocket. Postcard back with circular black postmark in t.r. with red signature inside. Digital copy of original photograph saved on CD with corresponding documentation. Narrative: Viktor Epstein was donor Liselotte Ivry's father (1893-1929); he was posted in Italy during the war. Robert was Viktor's younger brother.
