- Scope and Content
- The program opens with Sonia reciting a poem about water. Sonia is filmed near Almonte, at one of her favourite spots where the water rushes in and around some rocks. She attempts to capture the spiritual feelings found in nature in her water colour paintings and works to share this experience with others. Transition is the theme of her plein-air paintings, which the water symbolizes. She paints the energy of sacred places that speak to her and hopes that the beauty she sees will come out through her painting.
