- 3 Maccabees Women's bowling tropies 1953-1955; photo album includes Montreal streets; approx. 350 photos, many of them snapshots, including Romania, holidays, etc. Several old portrait photographs mounted on cardboard. Notable among the photographs: 1 studio portrait circa 1900 of 3 generations of Sommer family men, wearing prayer shawls, with the youngest apparently Louis Sommer (taken at Coté Studio, St. Lawrence Street, Montreal); also 1 small framed photograph of Louis Sommer with his six daughters, Montreal, circa 1928. (Exact identification unconfirmed: the image may be of Louis and Netty with five of their daughters.)

- History / Biographical
- Louis and Netty (Nadler) Sommer had six daughters; Molly, Ethel, Sally-Lillian, Toba, Bella, and Pauline. Louis Sommer's father is listed in the collection as "Israel Oyser (full name, Yehuda Lieb Breb Israel Oyzer Aleve.") Most of the photographs in this collection, as well as their connections to the donor's family, are unidentified.
- Custodial History
- The collection was donated by Joy Chenoy though Eiran Harris on April 29, 1992. The photographs were in the possession of sisters Toba and Molly Sommer prior to their deaths circa or prior to 1991.
