Some are holding red-and-white pennant flags, others are holding large drums. Boy in foreground is holding a black flag with a white sig rune (lightening bolt shape) and a white border. A man is standing on a large podium emblazoned with the Nazi flag (swastika on a red background). There are some other adult men standing among the boys. The ground is covered in fallen leaves and there are buildings and trees in the background. Narrative: The cigarette cards were packaged inside of Salem cigarette packs and were used as NSDAP propaganda in the 1930s. They were meant to be collected and inserted into an accompanying album.

Most of the men are looking to the right, out of the camera's range, but one man is standing behind the boys, also smiling at the camera. 1 page, double-sided. On recto is a b&w outdoor photograph. Cabin in background with wooden support/railing which runs along edge of river. Trees on either side of cabin. Five young boys stand in front of cabin, leaning on railing. Five men in long row boat in the water in front of the cabin; three sit, one reclines, and the man on far right stands, wearing a light-coloured suit, holding a pole or oar which is partially immersed in the water. On verso, handwritten Yiddish text. Document is a postcard. Narrative: The donors parents were Meilach Magid and Yocheved Bejlach, both teachers. They came to Canada in 1921, returned to Poland, and then settled in Canada in 1924. Meilach graduated from McGill in 1929. He was the principal of United Talmud Torah School and later founded Herzliah High School in 1946.

288 pages; hardcover, faux black leather with black fabric tape on the binding. There is nothing printed on the cover or spine. Interior pages are beige; they consist of text (Yiddish ? Needs confirmation). Narrative: This is the prayer book, which was issued under the supervision of the Chief Rabbi M. Ehrenpreis (Sweden). Was published with the help of the WJC to commemorate and honour the destroyed Jewish communities of Europe. The prayer-book had been printed in 50.000 copies in Stockholm.

Approximately 60 pages. Softcover, plastic bound with metal clasps. Covers are brownish-orange, with no text. Interior pages are beige, with blue, upside-down printed 3-petaled lotus-type flowers on the back. Consists of text, with footnotes and a bibliography at the back; there are handwritten corrections throughout. A letter written in black ink has been inserted in the pages, asking a Mr. Rome to give his insights on the essay. Narrative: This report is an essay written for a sociology class at Glendon College, in Toronto.
