- Born in 1922, Abraham Arnold was a writer and journalist. He was editor and publisher of the Jewish Western Bulletin in Vancouver. He was public relations director of the Federation of Jewish Community Services and Combined Jewish Appeal in Montreal. He was Western regional director of Canadian Jewish Congress and was the author of numerous articles on the history of Canadian Jews. Abe Arold died in Winnipeg at the end of January, 2011.
