Picture in top right corner shows a plaque Commemorating the 100 years anniversary of the Oranienburgerstrasse synagogue. The synagogue was burned down during the novembre pogrom (Kristallnacht). Bombs destroyed it in the year 1943. Bottom picture shows Bishop Schoenherr speaking in front of the ruines of the synagogue on Oranienburgerstrasse on November 9th, 1988. Flowers and candles on the floor and crowd of people listening to the Bishop.
