OBITUARIES: Evening Times Globe, January 31, 1944, Page 93 SB 97 Mrs. L. Cohen Dies After Long Illness Friends in Saint John will learn with regret of the death of Mrs. Lena Cohen, 207 Prince Edward Street, which occurred this morning at the General Hospital after a long illness. She was the widow of Aaron S. Cohen. Surviving are four daughters, Sarah, Lillian, and Minna, at home and Mrs. P. Pinkus, Saint John; one son Benjamin Cohen, Saint John; one brother Joseph Jacobson, Pontiac, Mich.; six sisters, Mrs. I. Bloom and Mrs. Jacobson, Saint John and four in Dorbian, Russia and one granddaughter. The body is resting at Chamberlain’s Funeral Home, 145 King Street East, where the funeral service will be held tomorrow at 2:30. Interment will be held at the Hebrew Plot at Fernhill Cemetery.
