OBITUARIES: Saint John Globe, February 10, 1911 The sudden death of Mr. Joseph Marcus took place at the General Hospital at an early hour this morning. Mr. Marcus was a well-known businessman. For several years he kept a furniture store on Dock Street. Mr. Marcus was in the forty-seventh year of his age and survived by his wife, five children, and two brothers. His brothers are Mr. S. L. Marcus, of this city, and Rev. I. Marcus, residing in the States. His children are Jacob, Max, Hyman and Bessie, of this city, and Joseph, who has been studying medicine in Philadelphia.
