- OBITUARIES: Evening Times Globe, January 28, 1980, Page 20 Unexpectedly at the Saint John Regional Hospital (Central), on Jan.27, 1980, Abraham Rozovsky of Loch Lomond Villa, and formerly of 23 Fourth Street, husband of the late Zelda (Elkin) and Goldie (Benner) Rozovsky; survived by one son, two daughters, one sister, nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Resting at the Castle Funeral Home, Hillsley, 91 Leinster Street from where the funeral will be held on Tuesday with service at 2:30 p.m. Interment in Shaarei Zedek Cemetery. - OBITUARIES: Evening Times Globe, January 7, 1944 Mrs. A. Rozovsky Dies at Residence The many friends of Mrs. Abraham Rozovsky will regret to hear of her death yesterday afternoon at her residence, 41 Spring Street. She had been in failing health for the last 18 months. Born in Russia and daughter of the late Abraham and Edith Elkin, she has been a resident of this city for the last 31 years. Mrs. Rozovsky was esteemed by many friends. Previous to her illness she had been active in all Hebrew societies. Besides her husband, the head of the well known establishment in this city, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Sidney Margolis and Miss Rose Rozovsky, both at home; two sons, Hyman, a mining engineer at Timmins, Ont. and Seymour, a student at Mount Allison Academy, Sackville. There are also two sisters surviving in the United States. The funeral will be held from her residence, Spring Street on Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock and interment will be made in the Hebrew plot at Fernhill Cemetery.
