OBITUARIES: Evening Times Globe, October 3, 1972, Page 19 KUNITZKY – After a brief illness at the Saint John General Hospital on October 2, 1973, Benjamin Kunitzky of 99 Carmarthen Street, husband of Sarah (Stekolsky) Kunitzky; survived by his wife, two sons, two daughters, two brothers, one sister, two great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Resting at the Castle Funeral Home (Hillsley), 91 Leinster Street, from where the funeral will be held on Tuesday with service at 2:30 p.m. Interment in Shaarei Zedek Cemetery. Memorial week will be observed at his residence, 99 Carmarthen Street. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Atlantic Provinces Baby Creche in Israel would be appreciated by the family. OBITUARIES: Telegraph Journal, April 26, 1982 The death of Mrs. Sarah Kunitzky, widow of Benjamin K., formerly of Saint John occurred on Friday at Toronto General Hospital. Born in Russia, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Jennie (Shane) Stekolski and lived most of her life in Saint John. She was a member of the Congregation Shaarei Zedek Sisterhood and a member of the Henrietta Szold Chapter of Hadassah. She is survived by one son, Sam; two daughters, Ruby (Mrs. Charles Chaplin), and Doris (Mrs. George Heiber), all of Toronto; two brothers, Sam Stacke of San Francisco and Leonard of Montreal, five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Resting at Castle funeral Home (Hillsley), 91 Leinster Street, from where the funeral will be held today at 1 p.m. Interment n Shaarei Zedek Cemetery.
