- OBITUARIES: Telegraph Journal, January 27, 1994 Fransblow - At the Chaleur General Hospital, Bathurst, on January 26, 1994, Joseph Fransblow of Bathurst, husband of Sylvia (Zaichick) Fransblow. Born in Tracadie, N.B., son of the late Jacob and Rebecca (Vender) Fransblow. He was self-employed and owned and operated Fransblow’s Company Ltd., in Bathurst. Survived by his wife, two sons, Steven and his wife, Rhonda of Fredericton, and Irving and his wife, Penny of Cote St. Luc, Que., one daughter, Judy Relick and her husband Sidney of Cote St. Luc, Que., two brothers, William of Bathurst, Max of Saint John, two sisters, Bernetta Guss of Saint John, and Kay Cohen of Moncton, N.B., six grandchildren, Lewis Retick, Jason Retick, Steven Evan Fransblow, Lianne Fransblow, Natash Fransbow, and Rachel Fransblow. Resting at the Castle Funeral Home (Hillsley), 91 Leinster Street, from where the funeral service will be held at Hillsley Chapel on Thursday, January 27,1994 at 2:30 p.m. Interment in the Shaarei Zedek Cemetery. Dear sister of Freda Tassler and the late Isaac Zaichick, Ray Vender, Ethel Lazarus and Joseph Zaichick and sister-in-law Kay Cohen and Bernice Fransblow.
