OBITUARIES: Evening Times Globe, October 22, 1941, Page 9 The funeral of Harry A. Rabkin, 15-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Rabkin, whose sudden death occurred yesterday following a brief illness, was held this afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from his parents' residence, 55 Summer Street. The service was conducted by Rabbi A. Babb assisted by Rev .M.I. Beshkin. A large number of friends and relatives attended the funeral. There were numerous floral tributes received. Friends acted as pallbearers. Interment was made in the Hebrew plot of Fernhill Cemetery. The Evening Times Globe Wednesday, October 22, 1941, page 13 Vocational Pupil Dies Suddenly Many friends will regret to learn of the death of Harry A. Rabkin, youngest son of Samuel and Zelda Rabkin, 55 Summer Street, which occurred at his home last night after a short illness. He was in his 16th year and was born in this city, having been a pupil at Vocational School and a member of the Judean Troop of Boy Scouts. Surviving besides his parents are one sister, Mrs. Morton Paikowsky, and three brothers Jack, Eli and Harvey, all of this city. Gravestone reference code(s): JM 998.61.136.
