OBITUARIES: Evening Times Globe, September 21, 1937 Baig – At the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Louis Jacobson, 137 Paradise Row, on September 20, 1937, Sarah R. Baig, widow of Harry Baig, leaving two sons, four daughters, four brothers and two sisters. Funeral from 137 paradise Row at 4 p.m. this afternoon. Interment at Fernhill Cemetery. The Evening Times Globe Wednesday, September 22, 1937 The funeral of Mrs. Sarah R. Baig was held yesterday afternoon at 4 o’clock from the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Louis Jacobson, 137 Paradise Row. Due to the fact that this is a holy week of the Jewish people, special services were rendered by Rabbi Beshkin and Babb. Interment was made in the Jewish section of Fernhill Cemetery. The funeral was attended by a large number of friends and members of the Chevra Kadisha acted as pallbearers. Gravestone reference code(s): JM 998.61.214.

OBITUARIES: Evening Times Globe, November 16, 1935 Mrs. Minnie Budovitch Dies in Fredericton Mrs. Minnie Budovitch, widow of Max Budovitch, died suddenly early today at Fredericton following an illness of one day. Her husband died in June. She was born in Russia and came out to Saint John 22 years ago but had resided in Fredericton for 15 years. The body will be brought to the city by motor hearse tomorrow morning at 8:30 o’clock for burial here. Surviving are three sons, Nathan Valensky, by a former marriage and Harry and Samuel Budovitch; two daughters by a former marriage, Mrs. Louis Lang and Mrs. Simon Chippin; five step-sons, Louis, Bennie, Ruben, Hyman and Jake Budovitch; two step-daughters, Mrs. Abe Levine and Miss Lena Budovitch, all of Fredericton; her father, Abraham Bercowetz, in Poland; four brothers and one sister in Poland, and one sister, Mrs. Max Zirolnik, New Rochelle, N.Y.
