- OBITUARIES: Telegraph Journal, March 20, 1999 KASHETSKY, BLANCHE - At the St. John Regional Hospital on Friday, March 19 1999; Blanche Nagleberg Kashetsky, wife of the late Max Kashetsky Saint John, NB. Born 1915 in Toronto, Ontario she was the daughter of the late Hyman and Rachel (Shwartz) Nagleberg. She was a member of the Congregation Shaarei Zedek, an active member of Hadassah Wizo and Sisterhood , treasurer of Shomer (Seniors) Club. She is survived by three sons, Ancil of Toronto, Herzl of Saint John and daughter-in-Law Hanna, Herzl of Saint John and daughter-in-law Faith and Jerome of Vancouver. Also survived by nephew Mel Spiegel of Toronto and sister-in-law Lillian Kashetsky. She was predeceased by her daughter Esther and son Joseph. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (506-634-7424) on Sunday, March 21, 1999 at 2:00PM. Interment will follow in Shaarei Zedek Cemetery.
