OBITUARIES: Telegraph Journal, June 26, 1935, Page 2 Obituary Max Budovitch Fredericton, June 25 - (Staff Special) - Max Budovitch, one of Fredericton's oldest and best known Hebrew citizens, died here early today after an illness of some months. Surviving are his wife Molly; six sons, Louis, Reuben, Benjamin, Hyman, Jack and Samuel, all of Fredericton; two daughters, Mrs. Abraham Levine and Miss Lena Budovitch, both of this city and 22 grandchildren. Two stepsons, Harry Valensky and Nathan Valensky, reside in Fredericton, as do two step daughters, Mrs. Louis Lang and Mrs. Simon Chippin. One sister, Mrs. Samuel Novick, resides in New York. The funeral service was held at Saint John today, the cortege leaving Fredericton at 9.30 a.m. Rev. P. Cooperstein, Fredericton and Rev. M. Beshkin, Saint John, conducted the services. Mr. Budovitch was a member of the Sgoolai Israel Synagogue, this city. Gravestone reference code(s): JM 998.61.263.
