The Isaacs' owned the American Clothing House, a men's clothing store at 9 Charlotte Street for many years, and Mrs. Isaacs worked in the office of the store. A lifelong member of Congregation Shaarei Zedek, she was devoted to Jewish life in Saint John, serving on the boards of most organizations.
