OBITUARIES: Evening Times Globe, September 6, 1990 Naomi Freedman of 55 Magazine Street, widow of Benjamin Freedman, died unexpectedly on Wednesday at her residence. Born in Russia, she was a daughter of the late Israel and Celia Elman. She was a real estate agent for many years and was a member of the Westfield Golf and Country Club. She was a member of the Congregation Shaarei Zedek, Hadassah-Wizo and the Sisterhood. She is survived by one stepdaughter, Ellen, Mrs. Fred Hochburger of Newton Center, Mass.; one step son, Dr. Melvin Freedman of Toronto; six step-grandchildren, several cousins, nephews and nieces. The body id resting at Castle Funeral Home (Hillsley) 91 Leinster Street, from where the funeral will be held on Friday at 1 p.m. Interment will be in Shaarei Zedek Cemetery. Resting at the Castle Funeral Home (Hillsley), 91 Leinster, from where the funeral will be held on Friday at 1 p.m. Interment in Shaarei Zedek Cemetery. Members of the Chevra Kadisha served as pallbearers. Donations were made to the Hadassha Wizo Organization of Canada and the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation.
