- OBITUARIES: Evening Times Globe, September 6, 1990 Naomi Freedman of 55 Magazine Street, widow of Benjamin Freedman, died unexpectedly on Wednesday at her residence. Born in Russia, she was a daughter of the late Israel and Celia Elman. She was a real estate agent for many years and was a member of the Westfield Golf and Country Club. She was a member of the Congregation Shaarei Zedek, Hadassah-Wizo and the Sisterhood. She is survived by one stepdaughter, Ellen, Mrs. Fred Hochburger of Newton Center, Mass.; one step son, Dr. Melvin Freedman of Toronto; six step-grandchildren, several cousins, nephews and nieces. The body id resting at Castle Funeral Home (Hillsley) 91 Leinster Street, from where the funeral will be held on Friday at 1 p.m. Interment will be in Shaarei Zedek Cemetery. Resting at the Castle Funeral Home (Hillsley), 91 Leinster, from where the funeral will be held on Friday at 1 p.m. Interment in Shaarei Zedek Cemetery.
