OBITUARIES: Telegraph Journal, April 8, 1972, Page 26 Unexpectedly at Keddy Nursing Home, Halifax, Nova Scotia, April 7, 1972, Hyman B. Taxar of Northwood Manor, Halifax, N.S., survived by five daughters, one son, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Resting at the Calvin Funeral Home (Hillsley), 91 Leinster Street, from where the funeral will be held on Sunday with service at 1:30 p.m. Interment in Shaarei Zedek Cemetery. The Evening Times Globe Monday, April 10, 1972, page 22 The funeral of Hyman B. Taxar of Halifax, formerly of Saint John, was held form the Calvin Funeral Home (Hillsley), 91 Leinster Street, with Rabbi Benjamin Eisenberg officiating. Pallbearers were members of the Chevra Kadisha. Interment took place in Shaarei Zedek Cemetery. Memorial week will be observed at the home of Charles Zatsman of 282 Douglas Avenue.
