- One page, 2-sided. Folded in half to make a booklet. The front has two rectangles with text inside them. Text is printed and is followed by a line with space for a handwritten response. All text is in Czech, Russian and English. This was a Czechoslovak Repatriation Card belonging to Karel Ehrmann. He was requesting repatriation to Prague from Auschwitz. Narrative: Karel (Charles) Ehrmann is the brother of the donor. Karel Ehrmann was born in Strakonice on 1925-07-06.He was deported from Prague to Theresienstadt ghetto-camp in June 1942. In Theresienstadt he worked as a cook. In December 1943 he was transferred from Theresienstadt to Auschwitz concentration camp where his prisoner number was #170127. There he got a job peeling potatoes in the kitchen because his friend was the girlfriend of a Polish kitchen kapo. In July 1944, he was sent to concentration camp Schwarzheide, a subcamp of Sachsenhausen where he worked in a factory that made gasoline and diesel fuel from lignite coal. From April 14, 1945 to May 5, 1945 he was on a death march toward Varnsdorf, Cz.

- Value of 50 Kronen. On the front, a bearded man, Moses, is holding the Tables of the Law inscribed with the Ten Commandments. The man's hand is placed in front the lower part of the text hidding the 6th commandment ''You Shall Not Kill' . The verso has a rectangular graphic design and a 6-pointed Star of David on bottom left corner. Narrative: The ghetto-camp of Theresienstadt, operational from November 1941 to May 1945, had its own currency. German currency was confiscated upon arrival. Every Reichsmark was exchanged for 10 Theresienstadt Krone.1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50 and 100 krone were in circulation in the camps to keep the illusion of a ''normal life'' since the Jewish money couldn't buy goods.

Narrative: George (Jiri) Ehrman was born in Strakonice (Czech Republic) on March 8, 1920. He was deported from Prague to Theresienstadt ghetto-camp (Czech Republic) in June 1942. In December 1943 he was sent from the Theresienstadt ghetto-camp to Auschwitz concentration camp (Poland) where his prisoner number was #170128. In July 1944, George Ehrman was sent to concentration camp Schwarzheide, a subcamp of Sachsenhausen, where he received this identification prisoner number.George recalls that he was made to build bunkers and repair damages after Allied air raids. From April 4, 1945 to May 5, 1945 George was part of a death march from Schwarzheide camp toward Theresienstadt ghetto-camp. He was with his brother Charles (Karel) during the march. Mr Ehrman believes that from their hometown, only him and his brother Charles (Karel) survived the Holocaust. George Ehrman immigrated to Canada and settled in Montreal.

- George L. Gilbert was born in Montreal on September 3, 1914 to Beckie (nee Wisnitzer) and Luis Gilbert, both immigrants to Canada; his father from Poland and his mother from Austria originally. His service records list his occupation as "department manager". In July 1942, Gilbert enlisted in the Canadian air force and was made pilot at the No. 1 Air Observers School at Malton in December 1943. He served overseas with the City of Vancouver No. 405 (R.C.A.F. Pathfinder). He was reported missing after air operations over Wilhemshaven and was presumed dead on October 15, 1944.

Brewer also worked as an accompanist, recitalist (piano and organ), professor (Conservatoire de musique du Québec à Montréal), examiner (Dominion College of Music), and composer. The knowledge he acquired on his numerous travels also made him a celebrated lecturer (exotic music, visual arts, philosophy, etc.). His compositions include choral works, pieces for piano, and melodies." - Music Archives at the National Library of Canada Brewer was also the organist and choir director of Temple Emanu-el from 1914-1928.
