- OBITUARIES: Evening Times Globe, April 20, 1978, Page 34 After a period of failing health, on April 19, 1978, at the Saint John General Hospital, Mrs. Celia (Halpern) Aranoff, survived by one daughter, one brother, one sister, two grandsons, several nephews and nieces. Resting at the Castle Funeral Home (Hillsley) 91 Leinster Street, from where the funeral will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. Interment in Shaarei Zedek. In lieu of flowers donations to the Hadassah-WIZO Organization or the Lung and Respiratory Association would be appreciated. Gravestone reference code(s): JM 998.61.28.
