Cover has the sillouette of a person, holding an axe, facing a tree, with decorative borders on each side and at the bottom; the high relief sections are cherry wood; the low relief sections are painted in several different colours. The reverse cover is plain. The spine is covered in brown fabric, connected with a rope threaded between 2 eyelets. The inside has a marbled pattern in grey and brown; no interior pages.

Beige blouse with a seam going down the centre and fastened with snap clips. Embroidered detailing is found on both sides, with a vertical row of butterflies on either side. Some of the embroidery, the outline of the butterflies, has been done with metal wiring. There is pleating on both sides, under the arm holes. The back panel of the shirt is longer than the front.

Identity card for Ilse van Collem from Westerbork transit camp. It lists name, date of birth, date issued, barracks and bed number. Ilse was placed in barracks 58, bed 221. The back has squares to be filled in for quarantine, luggage, photographs, applications, and telegrams; only the quarantine square and the "L.R." square have been filled in. Large stamped numbers, the letter "f", or pointing hands in red or black have been added to the top; some have been crossed out with blue pencil.

1 page, double-sided, with 3 circular ink stamps on it, and one square fiscal stamp. There is also a b&w identification photograph of Lotte van Collem stapled on the front in the bottom left corner. Narrative: Donor's Mother, Lotte van Collem (nee Randerath) was deported to Westerbork in 1943, where she remained for 8 months. In 1944 she was transfered to Bergen-Belsen, and transfered again in 1945 on a train, from which she was liberated from by Russian soldiers.

The back panel of the bag overlaps onto the front, like an envelope, to keep the bag closed. Narrative: Joseph Lion immigrated to Holland after Hitler came to power in Germany. He was later deported to Terezin as was his wife. It is believed that he was sent to Terezin and notanother camp because he had been decorated with the Iron Cross after the Forst World War.

Booklet. Cover is made of cardboard, covered in black fabric. ASticker in centre of cover: white, red border, with nane Ilse Gottfried handwritten in black ink. Shred of paper above sticker, affixed with staple. Document is the first grade report card of Ilse Gottfried, a student at the communal school n.1 in Antwerp. Belgium, for the 1938-1939 school year. Narrative: This was the report card of the donor, Ilse Gottfried. She was born in 1932 in Vienna, Austria. After Austria's annexation into the Reich in 1938, the Gottfried family (father Salomon, mother Augustina and their children Kurt and Ilse) fled the countrey. With fake idenytities on their passport they went from Vienna to Cologne (Germany), then to the Netherlands. From the Netherlands they went to Belgium where they lived long enough for IIse to attend school. They finally moved to France and in September 1939, the family sailed for Canada on the last ship out of Europe before the outbreak of the war.
