- OBITUARIES: Evening Times Globe, April 3, 1987, Page 36 Annie Jacobson, widow of Abraham Jacobson of 21 Sheriff Street, Chatham, died at the Mount St. Joseph Pavilion in Chatham, Thursday evening. Born in Chatham, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Catherine (Spiro) Rich. Mrs. Jacobson owned and operated a clothing store in Chatham for a number of years. She is survived by one son, Robert, of Chatham; one daughter Irene, Mrs. B. Mendels of Montreal; two sisters, Miss A. Haines, Toronto, and Miss A. Rich of Chatham. The body is resting at the Castle Funeral Home (Hillsley), 91 Leinster Street, from where the funeral will be held this afternoon at 2 o’clock. Interment will follow in Shaarei Zedek Cemetery.
