One man (middle front row) is wearing a striped long sleeve shirt and a flat cap (he could be the goal tender). Man second from right standing up is wearing a collar shirt. Two of the players have been identified as Mr. Csillag and Mendel Berlach. Narrative: This soccer team was formed by young Jewish men who survived the Holocaust.

Certificate is made of page folded n four and glued into cardboard cover. Three identity pictures are glued onto the centre left of the page. Three fiscal stamps are glued at the bottom left of the page. Back of the page shows 6 Russian fiscal stamps and different ink stamps. Narrative: This is a transit visa for Arthur and Miriam Lermer and their child. The Lermer family was granted visas by Chiune Sugihara, the Japanese consul in Lithuania at the time. Their visas were granted on August 16, 1940 according to the Sugihara database.

Ledger book from store 'David Ain' which was owned by the Ain family and located in Smiths Falls. Their motto was 'David Ain sells for less." It was originally owned by David Ain. Davi'ds son Kenneth bought it from his dad and ran it until 1970, when he passed away at age 49. Kenneth's wife Judith then took it over and ran it for several years. This ledger is her record of the finances for the store from 1970 until it was sold in about September 1975.

Narrative: Dr. Endre Gellert obtained Wallenberg Schutzpasses (protective passport) for everyone in their Jewish house in Budapest; about 100 people, including Judith Friedmann and her mother Elsa Schmidt Friedmann. Judith Friedmann’s father (Sandor Freidmann) joined them in the safehouse after having gone through forced labour and the Budapest ghetto. Dr. Gellert, his pregnant wife and their daughter Judith (seen in photograph) are presumed to have been killed in the Holocaust.
