- Cup suppored by a thin, cylindrical stem and a round base. Cup flares out from the bottom to the centre and tapers in from the centre to the top. The middle-top part of the up has an embossed leaf pattern. Spaced evenly apart, above the flare, are 3 decorative oval details, raised from the cup surface. The top edge has a beveled lip. The bottom of the cup/top of the stem and the bottom of the stem have decorative detailing, resembling rope, looping like waves around the circumference. The base has beveled tiers, with metal wave details and coiling along the circumference, near the beveled edge. On the stem, above the coils, is a raised half circle with Hebrew lettering. Narrative: Cup was made at Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Israel's national school of art, founded in 1906 by Boris Schatz.
