Emil Kroo was the Vice-President of the Central Committee of liberated Jews in the American Zone of Germany. They immigrated to New York in 1950 before settling in Montreal.

One-sided, with a stapled b&w photograph of the card holder, Rozia Magien. Identification card for Jewish displaced person in DP camp Fürth. Narrative: Rosa Magien is a Holocaust survivor originally from Lodz Poland. Rosa was born on March 23, 1922 in Lublin, Poland. During the war, her family was killed and Rosa spent time in the Kolomyja ghetto before surviving in hiding. She was liberated by the Russian armed forces in Kolomyja (Stanislawów, Poland). She met her husband Emil Kroo in Romania. After the war they were in a displaced persons camp in Fürth, Germany. Emil Kroo was the Vice-President of the Central Committee of liberated Jews in the American Zone of Germany. They immigrated to New York in 1950 before settling in Montreal.
