There is also one tear drop shaped cup under the inscription on the top centre (for the shemesh). A hole was perforated on top centre of the main piece, used to hang the chanukiah on the wall. Narrative: During Hanukkah, the lamp was hung on the dining room's wall. Originally, the lamp belonged to the donor's grandfather, Judah Nasim Levy. It is inscribed with his name (Yehuda Levi). Donor inherited the lamp as he shares the same name as his grandfather. Judah Nasim Levy was originally from Gibraltar.

Notes
White rectangular prayer shawl with blue band and stripes on either ends. Blue band has a woven shield motif repeated in blue on the band, blessing on each motif in dark blue. A crocheted Stars of David sewn onto corner at both ends. White strands of thread hang off both ends. Narrative: This prayer shawl was worn by the donor's father, Jacob Levy, in Tunis. Jacob was born in Tunis on January 16, 1904. He was the son of Judah Nasim Levy and Rachel Lasry, both from Gibraltar. Because both his parents were from Gibraltar, Jacob was a British citizen by birth. During the German occupation of Tunisia (November 1942 - May 1943), the family had to hide for about 6 months in order to avoid deportation to labour camps. Jacob and his family immigrated to Canada in 1957, following the independance of Tunisia. He passed away on October 24, 1990 in Montreal.
