Ian interviews Chaim Gilboa, Moishe Feig, Shmuel Feig and Barry Davis about what it was like to be in Israel in 1948. Portions of a slide show are seen. Hatikva is led by a children's choir. Marion Silver interviews Mendel Good, a survivor of seven different concentration camps, two jails and two ghettos, and about what it meant to him when the state of Israel was declared.
