OBITUARIES: Telegraph Journal, February 12, 1994, Page D8 Everett – At the Saint John Regional Hospital after a lengthy period of failing health on February 10, 1994, Esther G. Everett of York Point, Saint John, N.B., widow of Barney (Herk) H. Everett. Born in St. Stephen she was a daughter of the Morris L. and Rachel (Middleman) Prilutsky. Mrs. Everett operated, with her husband, Barney’s Department Stores on Union Street and later the Factory Shoe Outlet on Charlotte Street. Retiring in 1978. She was a member of the Ladies Morning Musical Club, a member of the Sisterhood of the Congregation Shaarei Zedek, Hadassah WIZO serving on the national executive. Survived by two daughters, Joanne Morrison, Rothesay N.B.; Martha Dantowitz, Chestnut Hill, Mass.; two sisters, Sadie Saperstein, Malde, Mass.; Bertha Miller, St. Louis, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Mark Morrison and his wife Cathy and children Joshua and Sarah Morrison of Windsor, Ont.; Dr, Debra Morrison and her husband, Dr. Lawrence Title, Halifax, N.S.; David Dantowitz and his wife Rabbi Faith Dantowitz, Chestnut Hill, Mass.; Nancy Morrison, Rothesay, N.B.; Robin Morrison, Newmarket, Ont. Resting at the Castle Funeral Home (Hillsley), 91 Leinster Street from where the funeral will be held Sunday, February 13, with service at 2 p.m. Interment in the Shaarei Zedek Cemetery. No flowers. No visiting. Donations to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family. Gravestone reference code(s): JM 998.61.427.
