OBITUARIES: Telegraph Journal, July 7, 1925, Page 5 Funerals Mrs. B. Garson The funeral of Mrs. B. Garson who died yesterday was held from her late residence, 14 Summer Street at 3:30 this afternoon with Rabbi Mendleblatt officiating at the service at the house and at the grave. Interment took place in the Hebrew section at Fernhill. Many attended the funeral and the floral tributes were numerous and beautiful. Gravestone reference code(s): JM 998.61.67. OBITUARIES: Weekly Telegraph, August 21, 1907 Gilbert – On 18th inst., at her residence, 68 Union Street, Rachel, wife of Harris Gilbert, age 47 years. – (Montreal papers please copy.) Mrs. Rachel Gilbert, wife of Harris Gilbert, 68 Union Street, died Sunday afternoon at the residence of her husband, aged 47 years. Deceased, who had been ill for the past nine months, came to this city five years ago with her husband from Montreal, to which city the family had moved from England twenty years previously. Besides her husband, Mrs. Gilbert is survived by three daughters – Annie, Narrie, and Betsy, at home. Mrs. Gilbert was well known in Montreal, where many will regret to learn of her death.
