Funeral today (Friday) from Chamberlain’s Funeral Parlous, at 4:00 p.m. Interment in the Hebrew lot in Fernhill Cemetery. The Evening Times Globe Friday, March 14, 1941, page 11 Phillip Green The funeral of Phillip Green, 8 St. Paul Street, whose death occurred at an early hour this morning at the General Hospital, will be held this afternoon at 4 o’clock from Chanberlain’s Funeral Home, 145 King Street East. Services will be conducted by Rabbi M. Beshkin and Rev. A.Babb and interment will be made in the Hebrew plot at Fernhill Cemetery. Mr. Green who was a son of the late Asa and Rachel Green, formerly of Poland, was born in Poland but had resided in this city for 37 years. He had been ill two months. Surviving, besides his wife, are one daughter, Miss Mildred Green, at home, and three brothers, Maurice, Kitchener, Ont.; Samuel, New York; and Robert, at home. The Evening Times Globe Thursday, September 14, 1989 Robert W. Jacobson of Sussex, husband of Marjorie (Richardson) Jacobson, died at the Saint John Regional Hospital this morning. Born in Saint John, he was the son of the late Harry and Ida Jacobson. Mr. Jacobson worked for many years as a salesman in the family business and later in the real estate. He was a veteran of the Second World War, serving overseas from 1939-1945. He was a member of the Shaarei Zedek Congregation. He is survived by his wife. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Joan Cowcill of Quispamsis; two sisters, Blanche Ahrenson and Ivy Lane, both of South Africa; and two grandsons, Adam and David Cowcill. OBITUARIES: Evening Times Globe, October 3, 1979, Page 40 After a lengthy illness on Oct. 2, 1979, at the Saint John Regional Hospital (central) Mr. Robert Master of 153 Loch Lomond Road, Saint John, East, husband of Bertha (Goldstein) Master; surviving besides his wife are several cousins, nieces and nephews. Resting at the Castle Funeral Home (Hillsley 91 Lienster Street, from where the funeral will be held Wednesday at 4 p.m. Interment in Shaarei Zedek Cemetery. No flowers by request. Donations to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated. Gravestone reference code(s): JM 998.61.468 / JM 2003.56.31. Memorial plaque in synagogue: Samuel Meltzer - A2.

Flying Officer Robert Seigler of Montreal, Quebec, was reported killed in action on August 18, 1944. Enlisting in the air force in August 1942, Flying Officer Seigler trained at Lachine, Victoriaville, Mountain View and Chatham, where he graduated as observer and received his commission in October 1943. He went overseas in May 1944.
