- Band consists of a series of small sections of 2 circles fused together, each connected by a chain link. The sections are decorated with etched surface designs and painted details (circles and a fleur de lis type design). There is a hook at one end. The clasp is rectangular with cut curved edges. The surface etchings mimic that of the band; there is also a painted floral/filigree design. 2 holes are punched on each vertical edge, giving it the ability to connect it to the chain.

In the background, there are buildings that lead towards the camp. There are four German officers forcing the line of people to move forward. There are numerous bags and belongings thrown on the ground. Narrative: After the invasion of Poland in 1939, Lublin was taken over by the Germans. During this German occupation, the city's population was a targeted, especially those that were Jewish inhabitants. It is known that the Nazis planned to turn Lublin into a new Germanized city by increasing its German population to approximately 25%. Lublin's Jewish population was forced into a ghetto. The majority of the 26,000 people living in the ghetto was deported to the Be??ec extermination camp between March 17, 1942 and April 11, 1942. The remainder were moved to Majdanek, a concentration camp located on the outskirts of the city.

- Dress patterned with a floral motif, being more dense along the bottom half, neck, shoulders and arms. A raised floral pattern has been woven in to the fabric and is most noticable in the bodice. The gown opens at the front, with a dense floral patter on either side's reinforced edge. It ties together at the waist, with ties attached to either side. The bottom half of the robe opening has been stitched together. An elastic band has been added to each arm hole. The gown comes supported on a metal hanger, which has been stitched to stay in place (see condition).

- Yellow triangular case with a snap button, sealed at the edge with a heat-sealer. Housed inside are 12 buttons: 8 that are white plastic with a mother-of-perl type finish on the surface; 4 that are wood - 3 have the same engraved edge ressembling a saw tooth the other with vertical incised lines along the circumference, with smaller horizontal lines within these vertical ones. The case also houses a white round ring and a very small pencil.

- 1. October 2005 Program: Shalom Ottawa visits Temple Israel during the construction of the congregational succah. Temple Israel Religious School student, Coleman Orenstein speaks about the lulav and etrog. Back in the studio, Nicola Hamer and Rabbi Chaim Mendelsohn discuss the origins, meaning and practice of the Succoth festival. January 2006 Program: Rubin Freidman and Brian Kingsley speak about their work with the Multifaith Housing Initiative in Ottawa. The group recently purchased a 10 unit building from Teron as affordable housing for low income families. In the "Everything you wanted to know about Judaism but were afraid to ask" segment, Rubin Friedman answers the question "What is Zionism?" Footage from a classical music performance by Arkady Yaniker (violin) and Olga Tcherniak (piano) at Agudath Israel ends the program. February 2006 Program: Hillel Academy Grade 4 students under the direction of Ruth Lebovitch and Rachel Kugler visited Hillel Lodge to learn about the lives of residents and do a special project about what they learned. Students Daniel Blacher, Jonathon Roytenberg speak about their experiences with the seniors at Hillel as well as resident Dina Hershorn. In the "Everything you wanted to know about Judaism but were afraid to ask" segment, Rubin Friedman answers the question "What is Yiddish and what does it have to do with being Jewish?" Next on the Program is Debbie Weiss. She speaks with Nicola Hamer about the Ottawa United Jewish Appeal's Mission to Israel. She describes the unique aspects of missions as you see Israel through the eyes of Israeli's. Various missions have different themes such as family missions, young leadership missions etc.
