OBITUARIES: Evening Times Globe, February 13, 1984, Page 14 The death of Mrs. Aida M. Leiberman of 67 Orange St,. widow of Joshua Lieberman, occurred Saturday at Saint John Regional Hospital following a brief illness. Born in Saint John, a daughter of the late Nathan and Rose (Selig) Jacobson, she had been resident of Saint John all her life. Mrs. Lieberman was a member of Congregation Shaarei Zedek, a past president of Hadassah and a member of Sisterhood. She is survived by one son, Avrom of Waterloo, Ontario; three sisters, Lillian, Mrs. Maurice Goldstein of Halifax; Mrs. Ruth Carel of Detroit and Mrs. Sara Stender, Hollywood, Fla.; one brother, Samuel Jacobson of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia and four grandchildren. A son Stanley died earlier. The body is resting at the Castle Funerral Home (Hillsley), 91 Leinster Street, from where the funeral will be held this afternoon at 2 o’clock. Interment was followed in Shaarei Zedek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, gifts to the Hadassah WIZO Organization would be appreciated by the family. Please call Mrs. Janet Holtzman at 693-2605.
