Jacob Gordon was honoured by former pupils, friends and associates at a brunch at the Jewish Community Centre which 400 people attended. The ceremony was part of Jewish Education Weekend, an initiative of the OTB to alert the community to the unique role which the Hebrew teachers play in the development of a child.
