Exact page number unknown. Unbound pieces of paper (of various sizes) held in a cardstock folder. The folder has a grey front with black text and handwriting, printed near the top is a drawing of 3 books and a plume; the back of the folder is sea-blue, with no text; it has been folded in half and then a third time along the right edge, and flaps have glued to the top and bottom, preventing the pages from falling out. A red and white striped ribbon has been attached at the front and back edges, in the centre. The pages inside are brown with black cartoons and articles. Some have been folded in half, some are smaller in size. Title on the front page states: "The working peasant power : This is how the Soviet freedom looks like". Narrative: Collection of Russian WWII anti-Jewish announcements.

Shallow, rectangular tin with engravings on the top, front and bottom sides. The top has a textured border with a scroll going diagonally across the middle and designs at the top left and bottom right corners. The front side has a diamond in the middle, with 3 horizontal lines on each side. On the bottom, there is a star in between 2 lines of text (see inscription). Tool striations are found outside and inside, with additional tool marks on the inside. The bottom compartment has a slight indent along the edge, so that the top sits flush when closed. Narrative: Made in labour camp in Siberia. Originally belonged to Lajos Schwartz in Karinszky, Kirovszky, Siberia Lager 101. Given to him on 24th birthday, May 1, 1943.

They are wearing identical knitted sweaters and pants, with knee-high dark boots, and carrying wicker boxes with handles. The boy on the left has his legs crossed and is leaning into the boy on the right. Postcard back. Narrative: Grisha and Yura Lehrman, Tanya's children. Tanya was Ginda Kalujna’s oldest sister who lived in the Soviet Union. Ginda Kalujna Rosenblatt was born in 1891. She was a graduate of the Women’s Medical Institute of Saint Vladimir University, Kiev. Dr. Rosenblatt and her family immigrated to Toronto in May, 1934. Although she fulfilled the requirements for an M.D. degree at the University of Toronto, she chose to devote the rest of her career to social work. Dr. Rosenblatt died in 1986.

Nazi army propaganda leaflet geared to Russians. The front features two drawings outlined in red of Soviet soldiers beating of Jews; the verso is black text with a Reichsadler on the right hand side. This document is a German leaflet issued by the local army propaganda unit with an appeal to kill the Jews and the Communists in order to join the German army. Includes issue #150 RA and a pass.

1 page, 2-sided. Front of document in Russian only. Back has both German and Russian text and some of the text is in a rectangular frame. Inside the rectangular frame there is a Reichsadler for Deutsche Wehrmacht in a circle. The eagle's head is turned to the right like the Parteiadler. On the other side of the rectangle there is another symbol made of a rifle pointing downards into the soil inside a triangle. Written on top of the triangle is III.B3. The document is a leaflet and a pass issued by German troops with an appeal to the Russian soldiers to stop resistance and to join the Germans (Issue DT4). Content of document scapegoats Jews as an unecessary reason for Russian bloodshed in war. This accession also includes a typewritten German translation of the original document. Narrative: Found on Volkhov Front.

This is a letter from Dorf Klara (34 years old, born in Czernowitz Romania, Sol Klara (husband) and Fauzia Klara (Cousin) to her niece (2 1/2 years old). In this letter Dorf Klara explains to her young niece what happened to her parents who died a couple of days after they gave their daughter into an orphanage and why they did it. Nice handwriting.
