b&w, white border. Postcard commemorating the first anniversary of the liberation of Mauthausen concentration camp by the Americans. The front shows a black and white drawing of an American flag being raised by soldiers. A man in a prisoner's uniform waves while he walks by a fat Nazi soldier tangled in a barbed wire fence. A large American flag dominates the scene. The reverse has a caption in six languages, and bears a stylized postage stamp featuring the camp gates. The sender's message is written in blue ink. Narrative: Donor, Mr. Wehrman, was liberated from Mauthausen concentration camp (Austria) on May 5, 1945.

Tag is made of metal, attached to leather bracelet with yellow button sewn on in black thread. Narrative: Henryk (Henry) Eisenberg’s metal tag from Mauthausen concentration camp. Henryk Eisenberg was born 1918-01-23 in Lodz, Poland. He was in Lodz (Liztmannstadt) ghetto from 1940-1944 working in Schneiderresort (sewing factory), then in Mauthausen camp (Austria) from August to December 1944 working as a barber. He was then sent to Ebensee camp (Austria) from September 1944 to May 1945 working in “Wiener Brockenbau” (bridge construction). Immediately after the war, he stayed at the UNRRA operated displaced persons camp in Bad Gastein (Austria).

Membership card for Hakoah swimming club, Vienna. Folded in two, 12 stamps on inside with the Star of David, one for every month the club card was used. Narrative: Peter Braun (Donor's husband) used this card to access The Hakoah Vienna sports club, which was known for producing Olympic athletes before the Second World War. Peter Braun escaped Austria thanks to the Kindertransport.

The front has metal embellishments at the left edge, and corners (see condition); no text is printed on the covers, but the left embellishment is engraved (see inscriptions). The back cover has 4 round metal studs, 1 at each corner and another embellishment on the right edge; a clasp is attached to the front embellishment and hooks onto to the back, to keep the book closed. The inside covers are baby blue; part of the pages have their edges are dyed red, and the rest are left undyed. The pages with the red edges are light beige with black text. The other pages are darker beige with black text. Machzor. Narrative: Item belonged to the donor’s grandfather, Elias Levi.

612 pages. Hardcover, cardboard bound with string. The cover has a brown fabric base, under a layer of ivory-looking plastic. Attached to the plastic is a silver metal layer, with a cut-out in the middle showing the fabric base, with tiny gold stars. Surrounding the fabric centre, attached on top of the metal base, is a layer of bone, with a floral pattern cut out of the surface, revealing the metal support; inside, attached to the fabric, is another embellishment, plastic and metal, in the shape of 2 tablets with the 10 commandments. A decorative gold floral embellishment has been attached under the bone detailing, also on the metal support. A metal edge has been attached to the edge of the book, and is bordering the plastic. The spine and back cover have been covered with white ivory-looking plastic. There is a flat, rectangular clasp that is attached to the back cover, and hooks onto the front cover, to keep the book closed. The page edges are gilded and the interior covers and flyleafs have a beige, rose and blue floral pattern. Interior pages are beige, with black text.
