- White, ridged border. Shows a man standing outside a building that forms an L behind him, in front of a bank of snow. He is wearing a belted coat, a hat, and long socks that come up to his knees where they meet his trousers. Narrative: This photo was taken in Moosbierbaum in Austria, which was a subcamp of Mauthausen-Gusen concentration camp. The donor, Chava Favor, was sent to a subcamp of Mauthausen-Gusen in the summer of 1944 and was eventually liberated from Strasshoff, another concentration camp in Austria.

- b&w, white border. Postcard commemorating the first anniversary of the liberation of Mauthausen concentration camp by the Americans. The front shows a black and white drawing of an American flag being raised by soldiers. A man in a prisoner's uniform waves while he walks by a fat Nazi soldier tangled in a barbed wire fence. A large American flag dominates the scene. The reverse has a caption in six languages, and bears a stylized postage stamp featuring the camp gates. The sender's message is written in blue ink. Narrative: Donor, Mr. Wehrman, was liberated from Mauthausen concentration camp (Austria) on May 5, 1945.

- b&w, white border. Snapshot of man and woman behind counter, merchandise on counter and on shelves behind them Narrative: Salomon and Sara Heiss were the parents of the donor, Erika Bloom. The Heiss family fled Nazi-occupied Vienna in 1938, after Salomon was arrested and detained in Dachau for 3 days. They survived the war in Shanghai, immigrated to Israel in 1949, and eventually settled in Montreal.
