1 page, double-sided. Paper folded horizontally and vertically. Blue ink handwriting in German addressed to Manci and signed "Hella". On recto top right, is written "Brzeziny-Lodzkie". Beige paper envelope, postage stamp and enlosure flap cut off. Narrative: Donor is Elaine Kalman Naves, daughter of Gustav and Anikó Weinberger. Mancika Weinberger (born 1910; died 1944) was the first wife of Gustav Weinberger. Mancika was killed in Auschwitz in 1944. This collection of correspondence was used as part of the research for the following book: Kalman Naves, Elaine. Journey to Vaja: Reconstructing the World of a Hungarian-Jewish Family. Montreal: McGill-Queen's University Press, 1996. Print.
