- John Galt of Montreal, Quebec, was killed accidentally when he was struck by a truck while leaving the Aircraft Training School after dismissal parade. According to E. Billington, chief instructor of the Galt Training School, John Galt was at the time of the fatal mishap being given ground mechanic training in a preparatory course leading to induction in the R.C.A.F.
